  • Project Rashtriya Netra Yagna - Camp at Mahuva, Dist. Bhavnagar, Gujarat

    A free surgical eye camp was held from 20th June to 24th June 2015 at Mahuva, District Bhavnagar, Gujarat by a team of doctors from Vision Foundation of India, Mumbai. Shri Muraribapu blessed and inaugurated the free surgical eye camp by lighting of the lamp. The free surgical camp was held under Vision Foundation of India’s “Rashtriya Netra Yagna”, where more than 1 million free surgeries will be carried out across India. In spite of rains and unfriendly weather, the eye camp had tremendous response from nearby towns and villages. 1000 patients were screened for Cataract and other eye disorders. 117 patients have been operated for Cataract at Hanumant Hospital, Mahuva. Patients with other eye disorders were given free medicines.

  • Project Bal Drishti - School Eye Screening Free Camp at Sion

    A free camp for eye screening of school children was conducted at M. P. Bhuta Sion Sarvajanik School, Vardhaman Nagar, Sion, Mumbai. 266 students were examined of which 13 were prescribed glasses. 43 students are referred to our base hospital ' Bombay City Eye Institute & Research Centre' for further tests. These tests would be conducted free of charge
