Community Eye Clinic
For over 30 years, Vision Foundation of India has worked to ensure no one loses their sight because they cannot afford care. Our Community Eye Clinic in Tardeo, opened on 4 May 2022, brings advanced diagnostics and procedures including cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retina and pediatric eye care under one roof. Services are provided free of cost or at heavily subsidised rates for economically underserved communities. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, our clinic has already served 1,59,736 patients and counting

The Approach
Deliver comprehensive services at subsidised costs so that no patient is turned away due to financial constraints.
Implementation
The clinic combines diagnostics, treatment, and counselling in a single location. Services are offered either free or at minimal charges that reflect the patient’s capacity.
